This a Shop call for work in the jurisdiction. Wednesday's at 9 am for pre-hire paperwork and drug screen and Thursday's 9am for the Lawson Electric orientation. The call is a shop call for work throughout the jurisdiction. They will need to bring with them a valid driver's license, 2 forms of ID, and bank information for direct deposit. Please provide a list of names for the ones taking the call as well as their contact information as soon as possible. The parking lot is on the left of the building for new hires.

Shimmick has a call for Journeyman Wiremen. Intown NECA scale. Report Monday April 20,2026 at 7am.Or any Monday after. Required: Able to climb 260-foot Tower Crane multiple times a day. Able to walk narrow crane platforms over 220 feet high with handrail. Able to work outside in the rain or any other outside weather environment to keep Cranes running or motors. Ability to troubleshoot accurately controls and control panels. Work Schedule: 5 – 8’s = 40 Hours 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday Overtime as required, and weekend work as required. All personnel shall report as follows: 1. Report to Jobsite Safety Trailer for orientation and further directions 2. 5535 Trailhead Dr. Chattanooga, Tn. 37415 - 0700 hrs. fit and ready to work. 3. Shirt with sleeves, long pants, safety steel or composite toe work boots required. 4. Bring training certificates for competency skills listed above. 5. OSHA 30Hr Required. 6. Be prepared for drug testing and Safety/Project orientation. 7. Security clearance required. No one convicted of a felony will be allowed. 8. Bring 2 pieces of identification (Driver’s License, Social Security Card, Passport) 9. Union Hall should submit all dues withholding information. 10. Bring tools commensurate with the craft. Specialty tools will be provided by the Contractor.

Journeyman Wireman Requirements: • Current City Journeyman Electrician license • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license (must be able to operate company vehicles) • Strong ability to read and interpret commercial electrical prints • Proven experience running and performing commercial electrical work • Willingness to travel as needed Work Location: • Primary work in Chattanooga • Travel may be required throughout Middle and East Tennessee This position is ideal for a dependable, experienced electrician who can work independently and manage commercial projects efficiently.
