BESCO is placing a call for Journeyman/wireman @ CLA Rates $33.00/hr. , $8.70/H&W, $10.07/Retirement. (Shop Call) Must be able to pass drug testing, background screening, Fit for Duty physical for employment AND need to be able to badge at both ORNL and Y-12. Please advise the candidate that employment could be delayed a week while waiting for the general access badging process to be approved by Y-12/ORNL. Nightshift call for Inside Journeyman Wireman. Working 5-10's with voluntary Saturdays available -Hire in date: 01/05/2026 (must be drug screened by 12/29/2025 to make hire in date) (drug screen is set up near your location, you do not have to be in Tennessee until hire in date) -Location: Y-12 Department of Energy (DOE) National Weapons Complex in Oak Ridge, TN $42.00 per hour $10.07 per hour put into retirement (defined contribution) $8.70 per hour put into insurance -Incentive - $10 (if you live within 50 miles of jobsite)/$99 per day (if you live over 50 miles away from the jobsite, must provide copy of lease, mortgage payment, or real estate tax record AND a supporting utility bill ((water, gas, power)) in the same address to qualify for incentive) -MUST be a US CITIZEN per Department of Energy requirements due to National Security, naturalization papers are required if born in another country -Must have a certified birth certificate (original with raised seal, cannot be torn or creased, or a certified copy from a state agency, or current passport - There is no way around this requirement. If it is not the correct copy of your birth certificate, or if its not legible, they WILL NOT hire you in. No exceptions. -The name on your drivers license and birth certificate must match. Beltline Electric has work at the TVA Kingston Gas Plant, located at 714 Swan Pond Rd, Harriman, TN. The work schedule is 5-8’s working 5-10’s. Monday through Friday 7:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Please have everyone report to site fit for duty on Thursday January 8, 2026, at 6:45 A.M. On the day of referral pickup, please report to Netgain, (Next to Oakey's) at 115 S Illinois Ave, Oak Ridge, TN, for drug testing. You will be compensated for this time. This is a long call. This is a travel Job (Camp job). This job is starting January 1st, 2026, (21 days on, 7 days off) at Foran Mine, Mcilvenna Bay. Contractor: SERVCOCANADA. Estimated duration: From January 1st, 2026 to mid March 2026. Job site conditions: Paste Plant will include inside and outside work, install cable tray, and rigid piping, pull and terminate high voltage and low voltage cables, instrumentation and controls cabling and terminations. Job site requirements: - CSTS, SCOT or R&R (Can be done online) is MANDATORY. - Fall Pro and AWP theory and practical is priority will be given to those who have both completed. - Apprenticeship Manitoba Card. - Extensive online on-boarding and orientation is required. - An onsite orientation will be required upon arrival to Site. - Camp and shuttle reservations will be booked by the contractor's Project Administrator. **Additional Information:** Must be able to meet the following physical requirements to safely and effectively carry out assigned tasks: - Lifting (floor to waist) ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. - Overhead lifting: 25lbs +. - Carrying: ability to carry 50 lbs for a distance of 20 meters. - Standing: ability to remain standing for periods of up to 3 hrs with short breaks. - Climbing: ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding as required. - Bending/Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to bend, stoop or kneel as required. - Pushing/Pulling: Ability to push or pull equipment or carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
